Sarah Dargie is a Lecturer in 2D Animation at the Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. With a background in architecture, animation, and graphic design, her work spans educational games, advertising, motion graphics, and architectural conservation. She previously served as Programme Leader at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) for 3D Animation & Visualisation and Digital Design (Graphics).
Research Focus: Sarah's research centers on data visualization for health, architecture, and education strategies, alongside exploring the writing process in pedagogical contexts. Her work has been presented internationally and is being compiled into a forthcoming book.
Scientific Awards: Recognized with students-led teaching awards and a Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship. Active in organizing conferences and presenting on topics like virtual production pipelines for theatre and sustainable island ecosystems.
