Sarah A. Binder is a Senior Fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution's Center for Effective Public Management (CEPM) and a Professor of Political Science at George Washington University. She specializes in legislative politics, congressional dynamics, and the relationship between Congress and the Federal Reserve.

Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota (1995); B.A. from Yale University (1986).
