Dr. Sara Saban is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Yeditepe University. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Bergen and has been affiliated with Yeditepe University since 2002.
Research Interests: Her work bridges Cognitive Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology, and Behavioral Neuroscience, focusing on hemispheric asymmetry, attention mechanisms, and associative learning. Recent studies explore cognitive control via the Stroop test and theoretical frameworks of anticipation.
Advising: Supervised multiple Master's theses on topics including dual-process reasoning, memory differences, emotion-cognition interactions, and social judgment biases.
