Sara Pettersson is a lecturer at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH) and Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV). She teaches diabetes courses at advanced levels and supervises degree theses in nursing.

Recent publications highlight cross-border digital health interventions, symptom management in chronic illness, and cultural adaptation strategies. Her work involves collaborations across Sweden, USA, Netherlands, and Italy.
