Sara Padín Castro

Sara Padín Castro is a Professor at the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising, affiliated with the School of Humanities and Communication Sciences at Universidad CEU San Pablo. She is also a doctoral researcher in the Social Communication Doctoral Program.

Her academic work focuses on fiction analysis, cinematography direction pedagogy, and the role of showrunners in television series. She has explored the democratization of cinema through digital tools in her award-winning TFG and investigated immersive teaching methods like virtual reality in her TFM. Her professional experience spans over eight years in Spanish television networks (Movistar+, Telecinco, Cuatro, Telemadrid).

Sara received the Premio San Francisco de Sales for her TFG, which earned the highest distinction (matrícula de honor). She also secured the Premio San Francisco de Sales de iniciación a la labor de investigación for her academic excellence. Her TFM on virtual reality in biology education scored a 7.0.
