Sara Talis O'Brien, Ed.D. is a full Professor of Education at Saint Peter’s University, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the School of Education. With over two decades of experience in academia and secondary education, she has held teaching positions at Drew University, Caldwell University, Rivier University, and government secondary schools in Musoma, Tanzania. Her academic background includes a B.A. and M.A. in English from the College of William and Mary and an Ed.D. in Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education from Rutgers University.

As a dedicated educator, Dr. O'Brien serves as Moderator for the Student Education Association and a counselor for Kappa Pi's Zeta Alpha Mu chapter at Saint Peter’s University.
