Sara Mayo Prieto

Sara Mayo Prieto is a Professor at the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Sciences within the School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering at the Universidad de León. Her research focuses on soil science, agricultural chemistry, and sustainable agriculture, with a particular emphasis on biological control mechanisms in plant pathology.

• Educated with a Doctorate from Universidad de León (2017), specializing in the biological control of Rhizoctonia solani using Trichoderma spp. in beans under the IGP 'Alubia La Bañeza-León' certification.
• Member of the research group Guias Ingeniería y Agricultura Sostenible, addressing sustainable agricultural practices and microbial ecology.
