Sara Konrath

Sara Konrath is a social psychologist affiliated with Indiana University's Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, where she directs the Interdisciplinary Program on Empathy and Altruism Research.

Her research focuses on social and emotional intelligence, examining temporal shifts in these traits among American youth, their health and happiness implications, and the development of empathy-building training programs for diverse groups including nonprofit professionals, medical practitioners, and museum staff.
