Sara Katzoff (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Theater at Bard College at Simon's Rock, specializing in contemporary performance practices. She holds an MFA in Directing from Boston University and a BA from Bard College at Simon's Rock.

Her research focuses on director/designer collaboration, consent-based practices for intimacy and fight direction, adaptations, intergenerational theater, and site-specific/immersive works. She has received recognition for her innovative arts leadership and has been published in HowlRound and American Theater Magazine.
Katzoff has directed notable productions such as And Jesus Moonwalks the Mississippi (Booth Theater) and The Waypoint (MASS MoCA). She co-envisioned international theater festivals and developed programs like EarlyStages to support emerging writers.
