Sara Jordan

Sara Jordan is a Professor, Graduate Coordinator, and Program Director of the Couple and Family Therapy Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a focus on advancing solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) as an evidence-based practice.

• Research: Pioneering work in SFBT applications for substance abuse treatment, recognized by SAMHSA; expertise in microanalysis of face-to-face dialogue through systematic moment-by-moment examination of communicative behaviors.

Scientific Recognition: Her SFBT research has been nationally acknowledged, and she co-founded the International Microanalysis Associates, solidifying her influence in therapeutic dialogue analysis.
