Sara Jafarbeiki is a Research Fellow in the Department of Software Systems & Cybersecurity at Monash University’s Faculty of Information Technology. Her research focuses on privacy-preserving technologies for secure genomic data handling, with a strong emphasis on encrypted databases and secure query processing.
Her research interests span privacy-preserving data systems, genomic data security, encrypted databases, cybersecurity, secure multi-party computation, and health informatics. She actively contributes to advancing secure methods for genomic data access and analysis while preserving individual privacy.
The recent publications highlight a consistent focus on developing protocols and systems for privacy-preserving search and query execution over encrypted genomic databases.
