Sara Gremillion

Sara Gremillion is a Professor at Georgia Southern University, affiliated with the College of Science and Mathematics and Department of Biology. She earned a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Georgia and teaches courses including Principles of Biology I and Lab, Cell Biology, and Mycology. Her office is located in SC 1006 at the Armstrong campus.

Research Interests:

• Investigating cellular components of filamentous fungal polarization using Aspergillus nidulans
• Studying bacterial endosymbionts within fungi and their ecological roles
• Advancing inclusivity in STEM education
