معرفی
Sara Blomberg is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. She is also a Core Group Member and LINXS Fellow associated with the "New Materials" theme.
- Education: PhD in Physics (2017) from the Department of Synchrotron Radiation Research at Lund University
- Experience: Postdoctoral researcher at Lund University (2018-2020) with affiliation to the Advanced Light Source, Berkeley, USA
Her research focuses on catalytic processes using in situ and operando X-ray techniques to study catalyst-reactant interactions. She works on both model systems and industrial catalysts, specializing in renewable energy production and biomass conversion. Her work bridges fundamental surface science with applied catalysis research.
Blomberg's career combines expertise in synchrotron radiation research (from her PhD) with chemical engineering applications. At Lund University, she continues developing catalytic models while collaborating internationally through her affiliation with the Advanced Light Source facility in California.
