Sara Blomberg is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. She is also a Core Group Member and LINXS Fellow associated with the "New Materials" theme.

Her research focuses on catalytic processes using in situ and operando X-ray techniques to study catalyst-reactant interactions. She works on both model systems and industrial catalysts, specializing in renewable energy production and biomass conversion. Blomberg's career combines expertise in synchrotron radiation research (from her PhD) with chemical engineering applications.
