Sanja Savić

Sanja Savić is an Associate Professor of Roman Law and History of State and Law at the Law Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo. She has served since 2009, holding positions including Coordinator for Quality Assurance since 2016. Her research focuses on legal history, constitutional frameworks, and historical legal systems with particular emphasis on Balkan regions.

Education:法学博士, Master's in Roman Legal History,毕业于贝尔格莱德大学法学院和克拉古耶瓦茨大学法学院. She is fluent in English and German. She has participated in over 10 academic conferences across the region, including international forums on genocide studies and constitutional history.

Her research spans constitutional development from Roman law to modern state frameworks, with notable work on the 1910 Bosnian constitution and Austro-Hungarian legal systems. Publications cover topics ranging from marriage laws in antiquity to legal mechanisms of ethnic persecution in 20th-century regimes.
