Mag. Sandra Pia Harmer is a Lecturer at the Institute for Chemistry Education within the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Vienna. She specializes in integrating new media to enhance language skills in chemistry education. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, teacher training, and fostering diversity competency.
Education & Training:
- 2002–2008: Diploma thesis at the University of Vienna comparing chemistry curricula in Austria, England, and the USA.
- 2009–2010: Participated in the ECHA course (University of Nijmegen & Lower Austria).
- 2010–2013: Trained as an Item Writer at the University of Innsbruck.
- 2005–2006: Training to become a learning coach.
