Sandra Nogué

Dr. Sandra Nogué is a Lecturer in Palaeoenvironmental Science at the University of Southampton since 2015. She previously held postdoctoral research roles at the University of Oxford (2009-2015) and University of Bergen (2011-2014).

• Licenciate in Biology (2004, Autonomous University of Barcelona)
• PhD in Biology (2009, Autonomous University of Barcelona-Botanical Institute of Barcelona)

Her research focuses on palaeoecology and biogeography, using fossil pollen records to understand plant responses to environmental change. She works at the Landscape Dynamics and Ecology (LDE) research group, with primary field sites in the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, and Western Ghats (India).
