Sandra McLellan

Dr. Sandra McLellan is the Lynde B. Uihlein Distinguished Professor of Ecosystem Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's School of Freshwater Sciences. She holds a PhD in Environmental Health from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Her research investigates connections between environmental processes and human health, focusing on pathogen dynamics in freshwater systems like the Great Lakes. McLellan develops innovative approaches to identify pollution sources from urban wastewater systems and stormwater runoff, aiming to protect water resources.
