Dr Sandra Johnston is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, University of Queensland. Her research aligns with key areas of the school, including patient safety, women's wellness after cancer, and infection prevention.
Her work also intersects with educational research, paediatric nursing, and initiatives addressing disadvantage among older populations. She contributes to projects like the DEFENCE project and efforts to transform child protection systems.
