Sandra Ivanović

Sandra Ivanović is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Music, University of East Sarajevo. She holds an MSc and has been employed since 1999. Her roles include teaching Solfeggio Methodology, Musical Culture Pedagogy, and contributing to University Senate and administrative positions like Vice-Dean (2005–2014) and Vice-Rector (from 2014). She specializes in music education, solfeggio pedagogy, and choir conducting.

Education: Graduated from Universities of Sarajevo and Podgorica (1994), earned a master's degree in 2003. She has mentored over 20 diploma theses and two master's theses, and co-authored a pedagogical manual on solfeggio applications (2013). Her work includes organizing international festivals (e.g., Accordion Art Festival) and serving on expert juries for music competitions.

Research focuses on music pedagogy and cultural promotion. Awards include recognitions from the University of East Sarajevo and local authorities for her contributions to academic and cultural advancement. She actively participates in academic events and has edited key publications documenting the Music Academy's history.

Teaching and organizational roles span multiple institutions, including the Faculty of Philosophy and music schools in Foča, Kotor, and Banja Luka. She is a vocal soloist and choir conductor, leading groups like 'Rusalke' in over 200 concerts and recordings.
