Sandra Cherie Henderson

Dr. Sandra Cherie Henderson is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Accounting at The University of Texas at Arlington, College of Business. She currently serves as the Graduate Advisor for Accounting and Director of Accounting Programs, demonstrating leadership in academic administration. She has previously taught at Texas State University and Arizona State University.

Dr. Henderson's research and teaching focus on Accounting Information Systems, Accounting Data Analytics, Cost and Managerial Accounting, and Ethics in Accounting. Her work bridges technical information systems with practical accounting applications, particularly in the areas of data privacy, cybersecurity, and sustainability reporting. She integrates technology and ethics into modern accounting education.

Her recent publications reflect a strong trend in cybersecurity training for accountants, sustainable business reporting, and information systems privacy. These works emphasize practical frameworks and educational tools to address real-world challenges in accounting and information systems.
