Sandip SenGupta

Dr. Sandip SenGupta is a Professor in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at Queen’s University, with a cross-appointment in Oncology. He serves as Deputy Head of his department and Laboratory Medical Director at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. His affiliations include roles at Brockville General Hospital, Kingston General Hospital, and others. He holds an MD from the University of Ottawa.

His research focuses on breast cancer biomarkers, precision medicine, and laboratory medicine innovation. He is recognized for work on breast cancer epidemiology, particularly linking long-term shift work to cancer risk, and investigating molecular mechanisms like ezrin’s role in tumor lymphangiogenesis.
