Sandhya Dwarkadas

Sandhya Dwarkadas is the Walter N. Munster Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on the intersection of computer hardware and software, particularly in parallel computing, computer architecture, and compiler/runtime-architecture interaction. She holds dual roles as department chair and active researcher, balancing leadership with contributions to energy-efficient and reconfigurable computing systems.
