Benjamin Sanchez is an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago in the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on developing wearable bioimpedance technologies to address healthcare disparities in resource-poor environments.

Research Interests: Sanchez's work centers on advancing digital health technologies that leverage the electrical properties of biological tissues for disease diagnosis and monitoring. His program aims to bridge health disparities through:

• Development of novel wearable bioimpedance sensors
• Exploration of biophysical mechanisms in tissue pathology
• Deployment of medical devices in underprivileged communities
