Sanchayan Banerjee is an Associate Professor of Economics & Public Policy at King’s College London’s Policy Institute, with a dual appointment as Visiting Professor at Grenoble-IAE (Université Grenoble Alpes). He previously held a tenured position as Assistant Professor of Environmental and Behavioral Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2022-2024). His research focuses on citizen-oriented, participatory behavioral public policies, tested through experiments in food, energy, health, and charitable policy domains. He co-developed the NUDGE+ framework emphasizing citizen agency in policy design.
