Sanaz S. Aghazadeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at Louisiana State University's E. J. Ourso College of Business. She holds a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Oklahoma and a BS from LSU. Prior to her academic career, she worked as an Internal Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City.
Her research examines behavioral aspects of auditing, focusing on judgment and decision-making processes in auditor-client interactions. Specific interests include:
- Impact of client communications on audit effectiveness
- Psychological factors influencing professional skepticism
- Organizational dynamics in audit firms
- Social media's role in auditing judgments
