Samuel Upton

Samuel Upton is a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, specializing in the Department of Biogeochemical Integration (BGI). He is affiliated with the International Max Planck Research School for Global Biogeochemical Cycles (IMPRS-gBGC) and the USMILE initiative. His research focuses on applying machine learning and data-driven methods to improve regional and global carbon flux modeling, integrating ecosystem measurements with atmospheric carbon observations.

Education: BSc in Geographic Information Science from Clark University (2017).
