معرفی
Samuel Drake is a Professor of Electromagnetic Systems and Security at Flinders University, Australia. He serves as Co-Director of the Centre for Defence Electromagnetic Research and Training (CDERT) and Course Coordinator for the Master of Electromagnetic Systems and Spectrum Operations. His research focuses on spectrum security, including applications of general relativity to satellite navigation and electromagnetic emitter localization. He has collaborated with defense contractors like Raytheon and Boeing, and holds a Senior Membership in IEEE.
Education: PhD in Axisymmetric Spacetimes in Relativity (University of Adelaide), BSc (Hons) in Chaos in Special Relativistic Dynamics (University of Melbourne), Graduate Certificate in Scientific Leadership (University of Melbourne).
Research Interests: Sam’s work bridges theoretical physics and engineering, emphasizing gravitational time dilation effects in GPS systems and non-Keplerian disk dynamics. His innovations include applying relativity to data fusion and radar systems. Recent projects involve quantum radar advantages and Doppler positioning techniques.
Awards include a Defence Science Fellowship (2011) and a US patent for signal deinterleaving (2012).
Teaching: Coordinates advanced courses in Global Navigation Satellite Systems, Radar Systems, and Military Radar Systems. Supervises two PhD students and oversees six academic staff.
