Samishta Choudhary

Samishta Choudhary is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) in Braga, Portugal, within the Nanostructured Materials Research Group led by P. Ferreira. Her work centers on sodium-ion battery electrode materials and quantum dot optoelectronic devices, supported by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) under the New Generation Storage Agenda.

Her research spans Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Battery Technology, Optoelectronics, and Electron Microscopy, with specialization in advanced characterization techniques including TEM, STEM, Photoluminescence, and XRD. She investigates nanoscale material properties for energy storage and semiconductor applications.

Dr. Choudhary holds a PhD in Nanotechnology focused on InAs/InGaAs quantum dot growth via Molecular Beam Epitaxy. Her educational background:

Her current PRR-funded project drives innovation in next-generation battery systems. With over four years of cleanroom experience, she contributes to materials synthesis, device fabrication, and characterization workflows.
