Samira Abdur-Rahman is an Assistant Professor of English at The College of New Jersey within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her academic career spans institutions including the University of San Francisco and the University of Rochester, with specializations in Environmental Humanities, African American Studies, and Childhood Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Rutgers University (2014) and an M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University (2005).
