Dr. Samir K. Gadepalli is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he serves as the Daniel H. Teitelbaum M.D. Collegiate Professor. His clinical practice spans all aspects of pediatric surgery with expertise in minimally invasive procedures, neonatal surgery, hepatobiliary operations, surgical oncology, and critical care.

His funded research includes an R01 grant from AHRQ for perianal Crohn's disease studies and PCORI grants for surgical networks like Midwest Pediatric Surgery Consortium (MWPSC) and IBD-SETON. He directs the Pediatric IBD Program and leads multidisciplinary initiatives to reduce opioid exposure post-surgery.
