Samiha Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Human Development at California State University Long Beach. She holds a PhD in Africana Studies and Education (2020) from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a William Fontaine Fellow. Her research focuses on transnational migration patterns and Islamic education among African American Muslim youth in Senegal, blending critical race theory with educational anthropology.
