Samantha Wilner is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Ursinus College, specializing in the development of DNA-based tools to study membrane-mediated interactions and control vesicle assembly. Her research bridges biochemistry, biophysics, and chemical biology, focusing on membrane phase transitions and targeted drug delivery systems.

- Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (Biochemistry) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Dr. Wilner's work uses programmable assembly and nucleic acid chemistry to elucidate cellular processes involving membrane shape deformations. She was funded by the NIH IRACDA program during her postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania.
Her publications span biophysical chemistry, DNA nanotechnology, and pandemic-era science education. Current teaching responsibilities include Fundamentals of Biochemistry and Biophysical Chemistry.
