Samantha Weller is a Researcher and PhD student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, affiliated with the Department of German Language and Linguistics. She is part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1412 project C05 titled Young adults’ specialized register knowledge: Modeling late linguistic development in L1 and L2. Her work focuses on multilingualism, language learning, and metalinguistic awareness.
Education:
- B.A. in Translation Science (Heidelberg University)
- M.A. in Linguistics – Intercultural Communication (Utrecht University)
Research interests include implicit language knowledge acquisition, education of newcomers in Germany and the Netherlands, and late linguistic development. She has practical experience in teaching English as a foreign language and editing academic texts.
