Samaneh Ghazimirsaeid is currently a PhD student at the University of Salford's THINKlab, previously serving as a part-time faculty member at Nonprofit University-Abyek (Iran) where she contributed to the Scientific Committee, supervised student theses, and assisted in technical design instruction. Her industry background includes senior engineering roles at Fara Gostar Engineering Center in Tehran, specializing in residential and commercial projects.
Her research centers on optimization techniques for multi-objective problems using game theory frameworks, with specific applications in energy management systems for green buildings, distributed generation, and neighborhood-scale planning. She employs heuristic, deterministic, and stochastic algorithms for optimal operation scheduling, emphasizing cooperative/non-cooperative game theory in energy markets.
Her sole documented publication (2012) examines tourism potential in Taleghan County, Iran, representing early work in spatial optimization. Current PhD research focuses on advanced numerical algorithms and energy system modeling within the D4E EU Project at Salford's THINKlab.
At Nonprofit University-Abyek, she supervised multiple student projects and thesis implementations while supporting technical design coursework. She maintains active research engagement through THINKlab's initiatives including MOBILISE Digital Solutions and ENSEMBLE Project for community resilience.
Her technical expertise spans GAMS, AUTOCAD, SKETCHUP, and MATLAB for architecture engineering and optimization modeling, bridging industry experience with academic research in sustainable infrastructure development.
