Sam Pittman is a Teaching Professor and Director of the Disability Studies Certificate at the University of Pittsburgh. He teaches in the Department of English, focusing on Composition, Public and Professional Writing, and courses like Writing for Accessibility. Pittman is affiliated with Athletics, First-Year Programs, and the Office of Undergraduate Research, among others. His research interests include Disability Studies, Poetry, and Writing Center Pedagogy.
