He joined in July 2021 under Prof. Ranjit Manchanda's mentorship, funded by the RoseTrees Trust. His research focuses on surgical prevention strategies for ovarian and endometrial cancer in high-risk populations, including quality-of-life assessments post-surgery and health economics of risk-reducing hysterectomy. He leads the PRESCORES study and contributes to the PROTECTOR trial comparing ovarian cancer prevention surgeries.
Key research areas include genetic testing strategies, impact of public health crises like the pandemic on cancer services, and hereditary cancer studies such as the Jewish Hereditary Cancer Review and UKCOGS. He has published extensively on surgical outcomes, cost-effectiveness analyses, and qualitative studies in gynaecological oncology. His work bridges clinical practice, patient-reported outcomes, and policy-relevant health economics.
Dr. Oxley collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across Queen Mary and NHS institutions. His contributions address unmet clinical needs in preventive surgery, patient-centered care, and optimizing healthcare resources for cancer prevention.
