Sam Nunn is a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs within the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech. He also serves as Co-Chairman and CEO of the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), and Chairman of the Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Previously, he was a U.S. Senator from Georgia (1972-1996), Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and instrumental in landmark legislation like the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Program.
