Salote Tawale is a Lecturer in Screen Arts at Sydney College of the Arts (University of Sydney). She holds an MFA from the same institution. Her practice-based research explores identity within collective systems through self-performance, collaborations, and community projects addressing race, class, ethnicity, and gender.
Research Interests: Installation, Screen Arts, Performance, Photography, Painting, Sculpture, Institutional Critique, Performances of the Self, Archives.
