Salman Saeidlou

Dr. Salman Saeidlou serves as Principal Lecturer and Associate Professor in Mechanical and Material Engineering within the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he was promoted in 2024 after joining as Senior Lecturer in 2020.

His academic foundation includes:

• MEng in Mechanical Engineering from University of Birmingham (2011)
• PhD in Intelligent Manufacturing Systems from University of Birmingham

Dr. Saeidlou's research pioneers the integration of computational intelligence and industrial systems, with core expertise in agent-based modeling for smart manufacturing, Big Data analytics applications in production environments, and machine learning-driven process optimization. His work establishes critical bridges between theoretical computer science and tangible engineering solutions for Industry 4.0 challenges.
