Sally Sargeant is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Health Communications at Southern Cross University (SCU), where she has worked since 2017. She previously served as Deputy Dean of Health and Human Sciences (2017-2020) and relocated to Australia in 2012 after academic roles at Loughborough University (PhD in Health Psychology) and Keele University in the UK. Currently, she holds a part-time academic teaching and research role.

Her research focuses on language, healthcare communication, and psychological principles in clinical interactions.
