Sally Rule is a Lecturer and the Primary and Early Childhood ITE Program Director at the University of Canberra's Faculty of Education. With over 30 years in education, she began as a Secondary English and Biology teacher in Melbourne and progressed to leadership roles in curriculum development, student management, and wellbeing. She led school clusters through the Innovations and Excellence project and served as a Principal.
Her research focuses on how system-wide enactment of Professional Learning Community initiatives impacts school improvement. Her international experience includes five years as a consultant in the Abu Dhabi Education Reform project.
