Sally Anne Perz

Sally Anne Perz is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of English at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She holds a B.A. in English from the University of South Florida (1991) and a M.A. in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition from UAB (2018). She currently teaches English 102 courses and tutors in the University Writing Center. Her research focuses on anti-racist pedagogy, curriculum design, and the rhetoric of oppression and exclusion. She aims to pursue a PhD to further her scholarly work in these areas.
