Salla Sipari

Salla Sipari is a Senior Lecturer at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, holding roles in the Futureproof Health and Wellbeing Innovation Hub and the Rehabilitation Master's Degree Program. She actively leads RDI projects and co-leads the Finnish Universities Network for Rehabilitation (FiRe). Her expertise spans educational evaluation, therapy, and rehabilitation innovation.

Educationally, she holds a PhD in Philosophy, Licentiate of Education, and Master of Health Sciences, complemented by pedagogical studies in adult education. Her research focuses on transdisciplinary collaboration, co-creating child/youth wellbeing programs, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.

Her recent publications emphasize participatory research methods and collaborative processes in pediatric rehabilitation. Awards include the Solver 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award and ITLA 2020 recognition for methodological contributions. She also serves on multiple national and international committees, including the European Academy of Childhood Disability and the Society for Rehabilitation Research and Development.
