Prof. Saliha Paker is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Translation and Interpreting. She specializes in translation studies, conference interpreting, literary translation, machine translation, multilingualism, and retranslation research.
Her department offers MA programs in Translation and Conference Interpreting, a PhD program, and participates in international initiatives like the European Masters in Conference Interpreting (EMCI) and the International Doctorate in Translation Studies (ID-TS). Research projects include "Retranslation-Turkey," "Lives in Turkish: A Database of Biography," and "Literary Machine Translation Project."
