About Sakari Taipale
Sakari Taipale is a Professor of Social and Public Policy at the University of Jyväskylä's Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy. He leads the research group 'New Technologies, Ageing and Care' at the Centre of Excellence in Research on Ageing and Care (CoE AgeCare). His work focuses on the societal impacts of digitalization and robotization, particularly on aging populations, family dynamics, and welfare systems. He has held visiting positions at the University of Udine, University of Ljubljana, and Open University of Catalonia, and serves as a reviewer for international research councils.
