Sajna Hussain is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS) at Oregon State University, working under Professor Lorenzo Ciannelli in fisheries oceanography research.
Her research spans Oceanography, Fisheries Science, Marine Ecology, Climate Science, and Environmental Science, with emphasis on ecosystem dynamics and climate impacts on marine resources. Current work focuses on sustainable fisheries management through interdisciplinary analysis of ocean-atmosphere interactions and biological responses.
She operates within CEOAS's fisheries research group, utilizing institutional analytical facilities and regional research vessels like the R/V Elakha for field studies. Collaborative projects integrate oceanographic data with ecological modeling to address conservation challenges in Pacific marine systems.
