Sajid Surve

Dr. Sajid Surve is a Professor in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He also serves as Assistant Dean of Osteopathic Recognition and Director of Osteopathic Education, overseeing educational programs that integrate osteopathic principles into medical training. Dr. Surve holds board certifications in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and certificates in Pain Medicine and Medical Acupuncture.

Research Focus: Dr. Surve’s work centers on Performing Arts Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Occupational Medicine. He co-directs the Texas Center for Performing Arts Health, addressing health challenges faced by dancers, musicians, and other performing artists. His research explores topics such as musculoskeletal injury prevention, ergonomic interventions for musicians, and pain management strategies in elderly populations.
