Saifee Rashiq

Saifee Rashiq is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. He serves as a Staff Anesthesiologist in Adult General and Neuroanesthesia at the University of Alberta Hospitals, and as a Staff Physician in its Multidisciplinary Pain Clinic.

Dr. Rashiq's research focuses on chronic pain management, particularly opioid use in non-cancer pain and complex psychosocial pain syndromes. He has participated in 11 international clinical and teaching missions to Ecuador and Guyana, and leads mentorship programs for medical residents and undergraduate students.
