Sahar BAYAT-MAKOEI is a Professor at EHESP School of Public Health and Deputy Director of the Department of Quantitative Methods in Public Health (METIS). She holds a Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of Nancy 1. Her research focuses on epidemiology and management of chronic renal failure, access to kidney transplantation in France, and reducing social/territorial inequalities in healthcare. She specializes in analyzing medical-administrative databases (e.g., PMSI).
