Sahand Mahmoodian

Sahand Mahmoodian is a theoretical physicist and ARC Future Fellow at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Science, Department of Physics. He is affiliated with the Sydney Nano Institute and focuses on many-body quantum optics, exploring both fundamental phenomena and applications in quantum technologies. His work bridges quantum systems' theoretical foundations with practical advancements in quantum computing and photonics.

Previously, he held positions at the Niels Bohr Institute (University of Copenhagen) and Leibniz University Hannover's Institute for Theoretical Physics.
